I hope to describe how good things are going, how good I might be feeling. I really hate mentioning if I am having a bad day. So I will make you all a deal, If my day is really not up for exposure, I just will not say anything. I am in hear everyday, if you have any question, do not hesitate to ask.

9:13 AM
Good morning. It's Monday, time to start making heads roll for me to get something for the pain. These things they have me on now, as I've said are not working quite enough. I know that if I back off of them, I end up in a shitload more pain, but there has to be something out there that can work until they can do the surgery.
I just got off the phone with Dr. Lais office. I asked to get transferred to Alena I think her name is. She handles all of the prescriptions I guess. I called her last Tuesday, she told me she would check with the doctor and call me back, well it's been almost a week. So I got transferred to her extension but it went straight to voice mail. So I left a message. Hopefully I'll hear something back soon.
9:32 AM
Well I just rec'd an nice surprise. My attorney just called, out of the blue. I'm glad I even answered my cell because his call came up "restricted". He asked how I was doing and I told him. Not good. I explained how I'm being ran in circles by my doctors for some pain meds that will be strong enough to help with the pain because what I'm on isn't working for shit. I told him that I'm looking into having my hand amputated because there doesn't seem to be anything else that will help with the pain relief. I also told him how the Psych Review I had with Dr. Feldman went good and he wants me to get into the Chronic Pain Institute at St. Judes in L.A. I told Mr. Flickenger that I can't do anything to get into their and he said that if that’s what I need, then I'll get it. The call went good. I was really surprised that he called. It was a nice surprise too. Maybe something will start to happen this week.
5:30 pm
Well today is still going pretty fair I guess. I bought my grandson a Hot Wheels Colossal Race Track Set and bought myself the Nook E-Book and a case. My own little X-Mas gift.

is it really getting to this?
How is your day going so far? Well I had an interesting evening last night. I turned out to be the Designated Driver for a couple of people. Well, the first one of the evening was actually a date. A friend of my pop's needed a date
Again because of the Implant shorting out. My hand and fingers have gotten soooooooo much more tender to the touch.
Ok, back to the events of last night. After the party had pretty much wrapped up, a bunch of people went to the local casino to do some more partying. My date, Joanne, and I went also
Well that was my evening, was fun. I'm so tired still. I'm going to lay down, maybe make a bowl of cereal and lay back down for a bit. This implant isn't working, but I'm still having headaches from it. The battery implant is still so sore to even touch it while pulling up underwear, shorts, or pants. It's been more than 2 months. Too the center of my back, where they had put the other incision to help feed the wires from my neck to the battery, I had an itch the other day right where that scar is. I barely touched it and I got a sharp pain that sent me just about through the ceiling. I couldn't even sit back in a chair, lay down, nothing because of that one little spot. It isn't as bad right now, my hand is bothering me more than anything, but that spot is still tender to the touch.
Heads are going to start to roll because I can't deal with this pain anymore. I'm fucking losing it. I want my hand removed. For good.
11:30am Fuuuuck, I just had such a bad burst of bad energy in my left hand's ring finger in the middle knuckle. The only way I can describe the pain on this incident is if you could imagine taking a regular stick pin and it being pushed into the middle of the knuckle. Now too, this burst of pain, bad energy, evil energy, whatever you want to call it. I kind of refer to it as the latter, EVIL ENERGY, is all aside from the CRUSHING sensation I already have in my hand and the multiple and countless bursts of BAD ENERGY that I feel 24/7 and its gotten so much worse since my implant quit working. Well, back to the topics of the day
1:14pm man, this is such bullshit. Another burst of evil energy, this time into my middle finger and base of ring finger on the palm side of my hand. It felt like it was being pinched, like by a pair of pliers or something. It's eased up a little, at least enough for me to get back to typing with my index finger.
1:24pm this burst was in my little finger, on the palm side again. Another pinching sensation of the skin along the length of my finger. This is making me sick. I get these feelings 24/7 and it's just getting worse.

Hey everybody,
Yeah, I know. It's been a couple of weeks, or there about anyway. I've been feeling like shit for one thing. My hand has been causing me so much more pain than it has in the last couple of years. I keep telling my pain management doctor but they seem to not understand. I called them again on Tuesday. I spoke to Holly, she's my nurse if I need to schedule an appointment or had any questions aside from my usual appointment. I asked for a new pain med that might be stronger, or something we haven't tried. Then she transferred me to, I think her name is Alina or something. Well she is the only person that calls in prescriptions but she has to talk to the doctor first, especially if it has to do with any possible new meds. And while I'm sitting here just now scanning photos into my computer and I got another burst of bad energy into my hand when I remembered that I hadn't received a call back from the office. And here's the screwed part, they're closed on Friday's. so now I have to wait until Monday, and who knows what they'll do.
They just don't fucking get it. I also spoke to a shrink a couple of weeks ago too. I had to see him for the insurance company. Told me that the amount of pain this is causing me and controlling my life so much. Actually, this injury took my life away. I've never even had a speeding ticket until this shit happened to me and now I've had my second one and I just saw the judge about it today, making me have to pay $250 some bucks, that I don't fucking have. I guess it could have been worse it wouldn't matter if it was 50 bucks.
The shrink I saw did tell me to check out St. Judes Hospital in LA for the chronic pain institute. I still have to do that but maybe I'll get to it tonight.
CUT SHORT LAST NIGHT BECAUSE I GOT TOO TIRED AND HIGH TO WRITE ANYMORE, NOW I'M ABOUT TO POST ANOTHER. STICK AWHLE FOR TODAYS BLOG

IT'S GETTING COLDER AND COLDER, I'M GETTING OLDER AND OLDER
1:53 AM
Well I guess right now I should say, Good Morning. But then again I haven't been to bed yet today so I suppose for me it's, "hey".
Lol, ok ok, I'm tired. Wish I could say I was a bit buzzed but not tonight.
What I can do is wish my daughter a happy birthday…………..
HAPPY 25th BIRTHDAY ANGEL
I wish you a very happy birthday baby girl, and I hope I can give that to you this evening. If any of you are in town that might catch this posting one way or the other, we are getting together at The Cliff House around 6:00 - 6:30 in Indian Wells, I know she would love to see you all there.
I got one of the projects finished that I had started, I'll be picking it up tomorrow. I sure wish I could say it's a custom built car with all the bells and whistles, but I can't, lol. I wish I could say I've got VIP, backstage, and music lessons by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill and an invite to a month long trip on their tour, in their bus, but I can't.
But I will share with you what I got for her, with you, the day after tomorrow, well, I guess we go back to the time thing and that would then be, tomorrow. How about Wednesday.
Well I got more bad news today from Melissa, my rep for the Implant. Her diagnosis of the implant is "it's broken". Ok, maybe not in those words, but she did say that it was messed up enough to the point that she couldn't fix it or at the least program it to the settings we had it at last week. All she could do was just program a couple settings and those alone were tuned into just my left shoulder and neck.
So from here on out I have only my medications until we get approval for a "REVISION" surgery. I'm calling the surgeon's office tomorrow, wish me luck that they have something scheduled already.
Ok, for the moment anyway, I don’t know if this same font will by on the blog site or not, I'll look for it, but I didn’t know how good it good in CAP'S until, NOW. SO AS YOU CAN SEE, I DO REALLY LIKE THIS FONT.
DAMMIIT, IT'S COLD AS HELL IN HERE, IT'S FRIGGEN 37 DEGREES RIGHT NOW, OUTSIDE. BUT TOO MY FURNACE IS OUT UNTIL TOMORROW (LATER TODAY). BUT WHATS WORSE IS MY LET HAND. SINCE THE ACCIDENT AND LOSING THE ULNAR ARTERY, WITH NO THANKS TO THE FUCKING DUMBASS, HEADS UP THEIR ASSES, USELESS AS TITS ON A BORE HOG SURGEONS THAT SAID "MY ARTERY WAS IN TOO BAD OF SHAPE TO REPARE". WELL NO SHIT THERE EINSTEIN, LEAVING MY WOUND SIT OPEN FOR THREE FRIGGEN DAYS WOULD SORT OF DO THAT. ANYWAY, MORE ON THAT LATER, BUT BECAUSE OF THE ARTERY BEING GONE NOW, AND RESULTING FROM THAT, LACK OF CIRCULATION, MAKES MY HAND DROP IN TEMP EVEN FURTHER THAN MY RIGHT HAND. AND THAT MAKES IT HURT EVEN MORE. HAVE YOU EVER PUT YOUR HAND IN A BUCKET OF JUST ICE WATER? OK, NOW DO THAT WHILE SITTING IN AN ICE BOX. ITS JUST SO FRIGGEN COLD (MY HAND).
OK, IT'S GETTING LATE, OR EARLY, BUT I'M STARTING TO NOD.
I'LL GET ON HERE AGAIN TOMORROW AFTER I GO HAVE COFFEE. SLEEP GOOD EVERYONE
LOVE'S TO Y'ALL

Getting Closer

Getting Closer
Yep, we are getting closer to my Daughters 25th Birthday. Man o man, I am starting to feel older and older. I couldn't be any more proud of my baby girl. I am so happy she had come out to live with me when she did. She was always a Godsend, since she was born and still is today.
I Love You Baby, And I Hope This Doesn't Embarrass You Too Much
I didn't know which way I wanted to run the photos, from younger to today. Or from more recent to the past.
So, after a great deal of thought and contemplation, I decided to do a random slide show.
I've also been trying to figure if I should go from more recent photos to when you were younger or from when you were younger to the more current or recent photos.
11/28/2010 11:58 AM
Good morning, actually it's probably more like afternoon for most of you.
I guess I got a bit too high last night and forget to post. Oh well, now I'll have today's going up.
I'm trying to create a PowerPoint presentation for Tasha's birthday. I found a bunch of old pic's of the kids and for her birthday, I'm going to possibly embarrass her a little bit, but you only turn 25 once, right.
So anyway, I'm going to work on that and I'll get back here to fill you in on my self educated PowerPoint class, whatever.
Oh, also. I went and got a new Bubbler I guess you call them, to smoke my pot and you know, if you have used one, it's so compact and I get such a nice hit that I get such a good buzz off my herbs. I'm serious, it is more like a topping for pasta, lol. They sell this Spice in AZ and it's legal first of all, but I mixed some pot with it. The spice gives you, me anyway, one form of a high and then with the pot, I get a bit of a different high along with the other. It takes me out of this world, a little bit anyway.
My hand is fucking killing me. The patch the E.R. doc gave me may as well be a band aid because it sure as hell isn't helping with the pain. It actually hurts worse now than it did when the I first got hurt. I cannot even touch my hand with anything. I wear a glove most of the time just to protect. It is so difficult to even get the glove on anymore since the Stim Implant quit working. I have only the use of my left index finger just hit the keys on the left side of the keyboard. I'm glad I took typing in high school. All the cute girls were in there so I got the benefit of hanging out with the girls and knowing my way around a keyboard.
Ok, back to work on Tasha's Gift, hahaha. I hope I figure this thing out.
Hi all, well it is now 9:00pm and I'm still working on my gift for Tasha. Well ok, I did take a bit of a break. But if I hadn't, I wouldn't have figured out what I did. Oh yeah, I also went and picked up the other gift. It looks really cool, still needs a little something else but maybe later
I went to the store with Pops, to get a few things for the house. I haven't been involved with anyone in some time. Seems like forever when I look at it in one hand, but then in the other hand, you have my ex-wife #3. I'll fill you in on her here soon. I'll just dedicate one blog for her.
I'm going to post for now too I guess, I need to work on something and I'm running out of time.
Good night you guys, and thanks for keeping up.

The First Few Days Of Hell

12:31 PM
It was around 9:00am when I got a call from my employer Larry Dodson, of Desert Valley Installations to go to the address he gave me in Cathedral City at Cathedral Canyon Country Club Condo's. Because Larry said it was a demo, I decided not to grab breakfast because I'd be done early enough for lunch afterward. He said he would meet me there with the drawings and details of the job along with the clients name and phone numbers. I got there at around 9:30am and a second employee of Larry's arrived, Orlando. He was told by Larry to give me a hand on the demolition of the cabinetry and counter tops of the kitchen and both bathrooms of the condo. Then I could start the next day by myself with the install of all bathroom and kitchen cabinets. I put on my work gloves and got stared. Since I was typically a cabinet installer and didn't do that many demo's, I noticed that in both the master and the guest bath that there were mirrors that needed to be removed before the counters or cabinets could be removed. I called Larry and asked him what he wanted Orlando and I to do about the mirrors. Larry asked how secured they seemed to be and I told him that they were pretty loose actually. and the only sure thing holding the mirrors in place were clips at the tops of the mirrors and then they were resting in a metal track that rested on the top of the back splash of the counter tops. Then the metal track was screwed to the walls. Since they didn't appear to be too secured to the walls with Mastic, Larry told Orlando and I to go ahead and remove the mirrors ourselves and then keep going with the rest, counter tops, cabinets, appliances, fixtures, etc. I asked Orlando to start working on the kitchen counters and cabinets and I would start removing the mirrors. I told him to give me a yell if he needed a hand and I would do the same. I got a couple of mirrors down and then I needed Orlando to help remove a couple because of their size. While we were working on one of the master bath mirrors, all we had to remove it were pry bars and hammers. I remember one of the mirrors had a big piece of the corner snapped off. I had other mirrors leaning against one wall in the master bedroom and when Orlando came to help me with the bigger ones, we leaned those against the same wall. Once all of the mirrors were down, Orlando helped me carry down the larger mirrors and then I took the rest of the smaller mirrors downstairs to the utility trailer. I had already carried down 3 or 4 mirrors alone and one of the last of them, about 3 feet square, with the top left corner broken away, went so smoothly going through the condo, out onto the 2nd floor landing, down 2 flights of "L" shaped stairs, passed some overgrown shrubbery, and an uneven sidewalk to get to the trailer. When I would get to the trailer I reached up to "walk" the mirror down low enough so it wouldn't hit the top of the trailer as I carried it in and leaned it against the side with the others. On this last one, I took my left hand to reach up and walk the mirror down. Well that was the mirror that was broken in the top left corner, so when I reached up, there was nothing there. I looked up when I felt nothing there and saw the razor sharp edge slide into my forearm. As it was cutting me I immediately let go with my right hand to let the mirror fall to the ground. This was at approximately 12:30-12:45pm and the mirror went down to the bone in my forearm. As soon as my right hand was free, I slapped it over the cut in my arm and yelled up to the condo "call 911, call 911". Orlando came out onto the stairs with his phone in his hand and the emergency operator on the line. Orlando wasn't sure of the address so I gave it to him to repeat to the operator. Then Orlando came over to me asking what happened and then another guy, possibly a landscaper for the condos came over to try and help. Then some other guy in what I think was a A/C service van pulled up. I kept tell the three guys to tie my arm off, with anything, tie my arm off. The guy from the van took a produce bag out of the van and tried to stretch it to make it longer but it kept breaking. So I just kept my right hand over it, bleeding.I had moved to 2 different spots while standing up and after about 5 or 10 minutes, the guys helped me get to some shade and laid me down on my back. They raised my legs to help keep me from going into shock, I almost felt as though they were hanging me up to bleed me out like a deer because it seemed like I started to bleed even more. What seemed to be already another 10-15 minutes, a fire truck and an ambulance pulled into the parking lot, but it looked like the kept going on past. After seeing them go past, it took another couple of minutes for the medics to get to me. Even then, when I looked for them over to my right I finally saw a medic approaching. On one hand I was relieved, but when I saw this guy, he was just strolling, not in any kind of a hurry, none of them were. I was getting pissed, I was thinking "you guys are suppose to save lives and your walking at a leisurely pace". This guys gets to me and tells me to remove my right hand from my left forearm. I told him he needed to get some gauze, towels, something because I was bleeding really bad. He told me to move my hand because it wasn't that bad. How the hell did he know, I've been bleeding from a main artery for nearly 25 minute's. Rather than argue, I pulled my right hand away. Then this "medic" yelled to the other medics to get him some towels and gauze. I even heard someone say "we've got a pumper", but then I was wrong about the medic not being ready to handle the amount of blood I was losing. I think there is a period of time and some things that went on that I don't recall. Then I get put on a gurney and loaded into the ambulance. One of the medics and a firm hold on my forearm with some gauze over the cut and another medic was trying to get a second IV into my right leg. I noticed that there was one in my right arm already so I asked the medic holding my arm what was going on and he told me that I was losing a lot of blood and they wanted to get more fluids in me. The problem was that this other medic at my feet couldn't hit a vein because they were collapsing. So he was told to stop and to do other things. I just laid there getting tired, more and more tired. After what seemed to be about 15-20 minutes we arrived at Desert Regional Hospital. When I was rolled into the ER, I was met by a male ER nurse, a female reception nurse and a doctor that said he was a neuro surgeon (names I don't recall). These people took my personal property, my cell phone and I gave the reception nurse my daughters phone number and her speed dial number from my phone. During this someone took my blood pressure, temperature, asked me how I got hurt, I explained what happened. They asked me how I was feeling, I told them I felt fine, except that I was getting tired, and wanted to just close my eyes and go to sleep. This doctor in the white coat was working on my arm and moving around the room while all this other stuff was going on and I heard him ask someone where a certain type of clamp was. I heard him ask again and not get a response from anyone. When I heard the doctor raise his voice in panic to whoever heard him for where this clamp was, then I started to get concerned, otherwise I was being quite patient and calm during the whole thing, until then. My arm got wrapped up, I received 2 blood transfusions and got my blood pressure stable and was feeling better. But still tired. The doctor got the clamp he was looking for I guess and did what was needed with it. At some point I had to sign a paper for them to give me blood. Then I was able to use my cell phone and make a few calls to get my son and daughter down there. After they got there and my best friend Dave, I asked the male nurse if I could get something to eat, he told me that I couldn't have anything in case they were to operate. Okay, I'll buy that, but what about some ice chips? Nope, no water, no ice chips, nothing. The only reason I was given was because they may operate on me as soon as I got to another hospital and they didn't want ANYTHING in my stomach. I'm still pretty much out of it as far as comprehension. I heard someone telling me and my kids that they were going to have to transport me to another hospital that can do the surgery on my arm. From what I was told is that they called 3 or 4 hospitals and nobody had either a bed or a doctor that could do the surgery. But they said that they were sending me to County General in Los Angeles. What I couldn't understand is, why were they sending me to a county hospital when my employers insurance company is one of the largest in the world. It didn't make sense. So later that day, around 10:00pm, I was loaded into another ambulance with 3 medics to make my trip to LA. And still I have had no food, no water, no ice. Nothing since before the accident. -

The Beginning; Changes, Am I Who I Am Supposed To Be
Playing the Waiting Game
12:24 AM
Well this I didn't expect. About 15 min's ago, I felt this surge from the implant all across my left shoulder, just barely for a split second. Almost as if somebody had just touched two wires together to create a spark. It happened a couples more times again before I actually got laid down for bed. I laid there stressing and worried that I might get zapped in my sleep and freak the shit out of me. It's bad enough I barely get any sleep because of the pain, now I've got to be worried about a sudden burst of shock therapy in the middle of my sleep.
11/26/2010 3:28 PM
I got up this morning and wasn't doing too good. I am having such an increase in pain in my hand and it's radiating outward into my wrist and forearm. The crushing sensation is coming back, full force. When I came out to the kitchen, I asked my Pops if was ready, then I was, and he knew what I was referring to, a trip to the hospitals urgent care. I was not only having the pain in my hand and arm, my battery implant is causing a lot of pain just to the touch on and around the surface of where it's at in my cheek. I was also having some chest pains and I had no idea what was causing that.
My Pops and I went to the ER (urgent care) at the hospital and while sitting there at registration, my chest pains started to get worse and as I reacted to it, the check-in nurse got me a wheelchair and rolled me right in, even though the lobby was pretty full of people. Well once in a room, they got my blood pressure, and ran an EKG. Everything came back fairly good, I just checked my blood pressure and it was 140/90 with a pulse of 77, not sure exactly how that rates to what it was this morning or when they took it at the hospital.
You know, I can't stand it when stupid people become doctors or something and you would normally figure they should be kinda smart. For example, I had already made mention to the nurses and the doctor at the hospital when I was rolled into the back with chest pains that I didn't want them or expect them to DO anything with my implant or the wires that run from my neck to my ass. I just wanted x-rays to determine if there was a problem that they might be able to SEE with the wires or the battery. I had only one concern; was there a broken wire; was the battery going to leak BATTERY ACID inside me if the wire lead came out when I tried to clip my toenails. But my point is that time and time again the doctor and a nurse or two repeated they couldn't do anything to the implant. And I kept telling them, "I don't want you to touch the implant or the wires, I want you to use the x-ray's to see if there was a visible problem. I explained a few times that all of a sudden, the unit seem to have surged on Monday and then started acting like it was shorting out and then on Wednesday evening it quit all together except for setting #4 which is now only sending signals to my left shoulder and up my neck to the left side of my skull.
I sent a text to my nursing rep (Melissa) for the Stim Implant and we scheduled an appointment for Monday to see if she can reset the unit and reprogram it. I hope that is all it will take to get it going. We already have to have another surgery on my implant in my neck, it go placed just a little bit too far left and it's causing it too effect different parts of my arm and even making my left leg tingles quite a bit. It doesn't feel bad, I'm just not supposed to be feeling it there.
Oh, I did forget to mention, the ER doctor did give me a prescription for Fentanyl 25mcg's Patches. I also need to remember to put it in my Google Health page. Well maybe now it will effect me better than the last time. I've never taken the 25's, that I can remember anyway. I know I've taken the 75's and the 100's. They didn't do anything that I noticed. The pain in my hand didn't change by using the 100's, all I know is if I do stop taking the pain medication, the crushing pain and the sharp shooting pain gets more intense.

Well, I just looked at this and I'm thinking I like this. I'll just keep it open throughout the day and add whatever I want throughout the day, hmm.
Oh, I may have mentioned it but I'm kind of excited about it, I dropped off this piece of artwork for my daughters birthday next week. I would love to post it for all to see but it'll have to wait until I get it to her on Tuesday. So everyone, go into facebook and wish my beautiful daughter a very happy 25th birthday

Another Day of Strength and Endurance, Physically and Emotionally
Site Opener
Hi, well hopefully you might be up to speed with me from my postings from the "Windows Live Writer" blog site. I had received an email from the site saying they were shutting down or changing or something. It was last week I think but i don't remember too much of the details, all I remember is that as soon as I saw they weren't sticking around, I knew I had to find another site. I had seen this site logo sometime ago but I just never checked it out. But from what I'm seeing, I should have come straight to this site. The features are looking pretty cool. I picked the theme that looks like a Library because of one of my mildest dreams of having a wall shelving filled as full as fitting to good all of the books I've read in hardback. I have a small collection now that I had just recently started. I love the thought of the bindings to be unbroken. So far so good.
Anyway, seeing as how I am starting a new blog, I'm not sure if I should just rewrite what has happened to me over the last couple of years or just copy and paste from the other site. It is now almost 6:30pm. I'll use tonight to think about it.
But I am going to start from here on.
You really want to get a feel for whats taken place over the last almost 2 1/2 years, so check with me sometime tomorrow.
Or, just keep up with me, but I hope at least here, as it says, you can comment or ask questions where it wasn't working on the other site.
p.s. I thought this was posted yesterday, (today is the 24th), my bad. But anyway, here we go.
